Terms & Conditions

The agreement between you and Save Farm when you book a stay, a day visit, or an event with us.

Last updated 17 July 2026 · Effective from 15 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of www.savefarm.in and every booking you make with Save Farm. By booking with us or paying an advance, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms on behalf of yourself and every guest in your party. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which form part of this agreement.

1. Who we are

Save Farm is a 25-acre working chikoo orchard and agro-tourism destination in Gholvad, Dahanu taluka, Palghar district, Maharashtra. The farm was founded in 1970 by Mr. Prabhakar Save and is registered as an agro-tourism unit with the Directorate of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra.

Save Farm is operated as a sole proprietorship. In these terms, "Save Farm", "we", "us", and "our" refer to that proprietorship. "You", "your", and "guest" refer to the person making the booking and every person included in it.

Legal entity: Aditya Prabhakar Save, sole proprietor, trading as Save Farm

Email: aditya@savefarm.in
Office hours: 9:30 AM to 8:30 PM, all days

2. Making a booking

A booking is only confirmed once we have received your advance payment and sent you a written confirmation by WhatsApp or email. Nothing else constitutes a confirmed booking — not an enquiry, not a phone conversation, not a quoted rate, and not a payment that we have not yet acknowledged.

Rates shown on this website are per the stated occupancy and are inclusive of GST. Rates may change at any time, but the rate we confirm to you in writing is the rate that applies to your booking.

The person making the booking, and the lead guest checking in, must be at least 21 years of age. Guests under 21 — including children and teenagers — are warmly welcome as part of a booking made by an eligible lead guest. We simply require that someone aged 21 or over holds the booking and is present for the stay.

The lead guest is responsible for the conduct of every guest in the party, for the accuracy of the details supplied to us, and for payment of the full amount due.

We may decline a booking at our discretion. We do not accept unaccompanied bookings from guests under 21, and we may ask for confirmation of the lead guest's age before or at check-in.

We recommend booking at least two to three weeks in advance, particularly for weekends and during the October to March peak season. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

3. Payment

A 50% advance of the total booking value is payable at the time of booking to confirm your dates. The remaining 50% balance is payable at check-in.

Online advance payments are processed by our payment gateway partner, Razorpay Software Private Limited. When you pay online you are also subject to Razorpay's own terms and policies. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials — those are handled entirely by Razorpay and its banking partners.

The balance due at check-in may be paid by UPI, bank transfer, card, or cash.

We reserve the right to treat a booking as cancelled if the advance is not received within the time stated in your payment link or quotation.

A GST invoice is issued for every booking on request, and as standard for corporate bookings.

If a payment fails but money leaves your account, the amount is typically reversed by your bank within 5 to 7 working days. Please contact us with your transaction reference and we will follow it up with Razorpay on your behalf.

4. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows, and refunds are governed in full by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it before you pay.

5. Check-in, check-out and ID

Check-in is from 1:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible subject to availability and may attract half-day charges — please ask us in advance.

Every guest aged 18 and above must carry a valid physical photo ID — Aadhaar, Driving Licence, or Election Card — for verification at check-in. This is a legal requirement for accommodation providers and is not at our discretion. We may refuse check-in to any guest who cannot produce valid ID, and no refund will be due in that event.

The lead guest's ID is also how we verify the minimum age of 21 set out in clause 2. If the lead guest cannot produce ID confirming they are 21 or over, we may refuse check-in to the whole party, and no refund will be due.

The One Day Farm Experience runs from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM on the confirmed date.

6. House rules

Save Farm is a family property and a working farm. The following rules apply across the entire 25 acres — including guest rooms, common areas, and the orchard grounds — and acceptance of them is a condition of your booking:

  • Alcohol and narcotics are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. This is absolute and applies to guest rooms.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Vegetarian meals are included in your stay. Non-vegetarian meals are subject to availability, carry an extra cost, and must be requested at least 24 hours before check-in. We are a working farm in a rural area and source fresh, so even a request made in advance cannot always be guaranteed on the day. Where we are unable to serve non-vegetarian food, no part of your booking is refundable on that ground.
  • Dinner is served at 8:30 PM.
  • Loud music and behaviour that disturbs other guests, our staff, our animals, or our neighbours is not permitted.
  • Please do not pick fruit, damage trees, or enter restricted working areas of the farm without a guide.
  • Free parking is available for up to 15 cars.

We may ask any guest who breaches these rules to leave the property immediately, without refund of any amount paid. We do not make exceptions to the alcohol and smoking rules.

7. Outdoor activities

Save Farm offers a range of outdoor activities in and around the orchard — orchard walks, guided farm tours, a swimming pool, and outdoor play installations. All of our activities are recreational and leisure in nature, and are enjoyed under the guidance of our team.

We ask that you take part sensibly, within your own comfort and ability, and that you follow the guidance of our staff at all times.

Please tell us in advance of any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, or physical limitation that could affect your participation. We may ask any guest to sit out an activity on safety grounds, and our decision on this is final.

Our outdoor installations are suitable for children aged 8 and above, subject to a simple suitability check by our team on the day.

Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times. This is an open, working farm with water bodies, uneven ground, tools, farm vehicles, and animals. Children must be supervised at all times. Pool use requires our prior permission and adult supervision.

To the extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from ordinary participation in these activities, except where it is caused by our own proven negligence.

8. Our liability

We take reasonable care to keep the property safe and to deliver what we have promised. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for loss of or damage to your personal belongings, vehicles, or valuables brought onto the property. Please do not leave valuables unattended.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your booking will not exceed the total amount you have actually paid us for that booking.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Events beyond our control: We are not liable for failure to deliver a booking due to events outside our reasonable control, including heavy rain or flooding, cyclones, fire, epidemic or pandemic, government or local-authority orders, strikes, riots, road closures, or failure of power, water, or telecommunications. Our remedy in these cases is set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Our location is rural. Wi-Fi, mobile signal, cable TV, and power may be intermittent. This is a normal characteristic of the property and is not a service failure or a ground for a refund.

9. Damage and conduct

You are responsible for any loss or damage caused to our property, rooms, furnishings, equipment, plants, or animals by you or anyone in your party, whether deliberate or careless. We may charge you the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.

We may refuse or terminate a booking, at any point and without refund, where a guest's conduct is unlawful, abusive toward our staff or other guests, or dangerous to themselves or others.

10. This website, photos and content

All text, photographs, videos, artwork, and logos on this website belong to Save Farm or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them commercially without our written consent.

Photographs on this site are representative of the property and the experience. Natural features such as fruiting, flowering, foliage, and water levels change with the season and cannot be guaranteed to match a photograph on the date of your visit.

We may photograph or film general activity on the farm for our own promotional use. If you do not wish to appear in such material, please tell our team on arrival and we will respect that.

You agree not to misuse this website — including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, submitting false enquiries, or interfering with its operation.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page on the date you make your booking is the version that applies to that booking. The "last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of your booking or your use of this website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Dahanu, Maharashtra.

Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly and fairly by a direct conversation.
