School Outing Near Mumbai
An educational farm visit where students learn by doing — bee-keeping, composting, Warli art, and 25 acres of living science. 2.5 hours from Mumbai.
A School Trip That’s Actually Educational
If you’re planning a school outing near Mumbai and you want students to actually learn something — not just ride a bus to a water park — Save Farm in Dahanu is 25 acres of working farmland where every corner is a classroom.
Students see bee-keeping up close, learn how composting turns waste into soil, understand rainwater harvesting from a real system, walk through 400+ plant species in the botanical garden, and try hands-on crafts like Warli painting and pottery. No textbooks — just the real thing.
We’ve hosted school groups from nursery to Class 12. The farm is alcohol-free, gated, and staffed by guides who know how to keep 50 kids engaged without a screen in sight.
Why Schools Choose Save Farm
Curriculum-Aligned Learning
Bee-keeping, composting, rainwater harvesting, organic farming, and biodiversity — all things students read about in EVS and science textbooks. Here, they see and touch the real thing.
400+ Plant Species to Explore
The botanical garden and spice garden cover turmeric, ashwagandha, tulsi, lemongrass, and hundreds more. Guided walks are paced for different age groups.
Hands-On Creative Workshops
Warli art with tribal artisans, pottery wheel, basket weaving, and bamboo crafts. Students create, not consume — and they take their work home.
