This isn’t a resort with a few potted plants and a “farm experience” label. Save Farm is 25 acres of working chikoo orchard with a botanical garden, spice walks, Warli art workshops, machaan huts, and home-cooked Maharashtrian meals. The family has been farming here for over 55 years.

You can come for a day trip or stay overnight. Either way, you’re trading traffic noise for birdsong. Take the train to Gholvad station and we’re a 5-minute rickshaw ride away.

Getting to Save Farm from Virar & Vasai

By Road

Head north from Virar on NH-48 towards Dahanu. Cross Manor and Charoti, take the Gholvad/Dahanu exit. From Vasai: a similar drive via Vasai–Manor road or NH-48.

By Train

~1.5 hours

Take any Dahanu Road-bound Western Railway local from Virar or Vasai Road station. Get off at Gholvad — the farm is a 5-minute rickshaw ride from the station. Trains run every 20–30 minutes.
