Planning for a mixed group can be tricky. Some guests want to learn, others want to make something, and everyone needs time to eat and rest. At Save Farm, we plan the day around your group rather than ask every group to follow the same timetable.
A Day at Save Farm is for schools, colleges, teams, families and community groups of at least 25 guests. The farm is in Gholvad, Dahanu, around 2.5 to 3.5 hours from Mumbai by road, depending on traffic.
Start with who is coming
A school group may want to see nursery work and learn about plants. A team may want time together away from desks. A club or multi-generational family may prefer a gentler pace and plenty of conversation.
Tell us the group size, ages and any food or access needs. Those details help us suggest a day that is useful and comfortable for the people in front of us.
Choose a direction for the day
A guided orchard walk, a look at farm practices, a rural skills activity and a shared meal are all possible parts of a visit. Tell us what interests your group most.
The programme, meal arrangements, timings and quote are confirmed after we discuss your date and group. The dishes depend on what is available on the day; workshops and outdoor activities also depend on conditions.
Leave enough room in the day for the journey
Save Farm is in Gholvad, Dahanu, north of Mumbai. A group travelling by road should allow for traffic on NH-48 and agree an arrival time before settling its programme. Those travelling by rail can check current Western Railway services to Gholvad and arrange the final local transfer.
Tell the farm if some guests need a slower walking pace or more time to sit. A useful group day has space for the people coming, not only a list of activities.
Make the first enquiry easy
You do not need to settle every detail before contacting us. A date, estimated guest count and a sentence about what your group hopes to enjoy are enough to begin.
If you are planning for fewer than 25, ask about an overnight room. Save Farm has 11 rooms; a large school or community group should discuss a day visit rather than assume overnight capacity.
